About One Button Monkey

One Button Monkey likes videogames and technology, and has been known to moan endlessly about popular culture. To that end, One Button Monkey will grow to incorporate whatever ranting tickles our cultural fancy from games, movies, and writing, to many of the other public symptoms of mankind’s endless resources for idiocy.

We think that, if you’re going to waste your time reading pointless internet toss, it might as well pretend to be well-written. But don’t be fooled: One Button Monkey thinks that blogs are stupid, and that anyone reading a journal of someone else’s thoughts and feelings is probably worse than the idiot that wrote it. One Button Monkey doesn’t like you any more than it respects itself. 

Michael Sylvain (Button Monkey) is an angry, miserable, bitter little man who is unable to avoid being disappointed by anything. He also knows how mediocre and average that makes him. Being naturally boring and argumentative, it was inevitable he’d be implicated in something as rubbish as this. 

Alex Manion (Mutton Bunky) believes that his role in life is to inspire hope. He achieves this through remorselessly disappointing himself and others, before eventually going away. Alex prefers buying things to owning them, and telling others they are wrong rather than being right. He has never knowingly avoided an opportunity for obstinate truculence.
